TT 2010 is in the Books!

Well the supersport race 2 went off on Thursday and as Brandon stated in his update, it was super windy. Other than the wind, the weather was spot on and I had an a really good time riding. I was fortunate to make it through this whole race without accidentally shutting the bike off once, so that I'mproved my overall race time quite a bit. I want to thank Garry, Todd and Chris for their help as Brandon and I would have struggled to get through one day of riding without them... mush less 2 weeks! All in all the 2010 TT was an amazing experience and I can't wait till next year when we get to try our hands at the mountain course again!

RIP Paul Dobbs
Just got back to the place after a long day....
Race 2 didnt go as good as planned. Whole course was WINDY and I mean WINDY. Obviously it didnt slow down the top guys by any means so I have no room to make excuses but the wind really beat me up and slowed me down. I went into the race feeling as if I could run faster than I had on Monday but went a bit slower and just wasnt feeling it during the whole race unfortunately.......
All in all though this whole experience has been amazing and I cant thank the TT organizers enough for giving me the opportunity to race in this prestigious event.
HUGE thanks goes out to Garry, Todd, and Chris for their help in the paddock/pits, couldnt have done it without them, I mean that 110%!
Of course we have to thank all of our sponsors for supporting us, especially our title sponsor, HEL Performance
Another huge thanks to everyone that has supported Jimmy and I in our endeavor whether it be a donation or just a "good luck"
Ill let Jimmy write up his own final race report

Also my prayers go out to the friends and family of long time New Zealand TT racer Paul Dobbs who lost his life today in the Supersport race....RIP

SuperSport Race 1

Well we both finished our first race this morning. Brandon finished 47th and myself finished 43rd. Brandon did a fantastic job and was able to pick up speed the whole time. I had a few small issues that I managed to create for myself, but I eventually worked through them and I was able to carry on and finish the race. From here we look on to Wednesdays race and hope for good weather!

Today was a nice relaxing day for both Brandon and I. Brandon hasn't been feeling too well over the weekend due to a cold so he spent most of the day just hanging out around the house trying to rest and recover before our first race tomorrow. I spent the day with my sister Margaret and her husband Tim and we just kind of bounced around and did the tourist thing for a day. We took the Manx Electric Railway to the Laxey Wheel and then up to the top of Snaefell Mountain. It was an amazing tour of the island and I highly recommend it if you ever get the chance.

Right now Brandon and I are just trying to get some rest so we're ready for the big day tomorrow. We'll post the results and race reports tomorrow evening!

Well.........qualifying is pretty much over and races for Jimmy and I start Monday!

By the end of the week I got up to a 111mph lap which I am ecstatic with! It is well within qualifying range and I got over the 110mph mark so I cant ask for more at this point. I am just going to go out and continue to have a good time!

Jimmy got up to around a 113-114mph lap by the end of the week! He is loving the R6 he has to ride this year and having a blast on the course. The liter-bike he was supposed to ride unfortunately had electrical issues all week and he wont be able to contest the liter-bike classes but he has given his full concentration to the Supersport races.

Thanks for the support everyone!
